1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
1.1 This website (”website”) is owned and operated by Women In Film & Television Association India Sec 25 Company Not-for-Profit (“WIFTAI”). By registering you accept these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 WIFTAI may modify, alter or otherwise update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Such amendments will be effective immediately upon posting of the amended Terms and Conditions on the website and in the Article(s) of the company – a copy can be posted/emailed to you on request.
2. Your obligations
Registration and profile
2.1 Access to some services or content may require you to register as a user of WIFTAI and / or for you to have a current profile on the website. You will be allocated a user ID and password that is personal to you.
2.2 You agree that you are responsible for maintaining the security of your confidential login information and for any activity that occurs on or through your profile. You also agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your profile.
2.3 You may delete your profile at any time and if you do so, any material or comments posted by you will remain on WIFTAI but will show that an anonymous user contributed them.
2.4 Your membership fee is non-refundable and is paid upfront for 12 months, re-newable year-on-year.
2.5 Your membership fee gives you access to networking, workshops, screening and other calendar events based on first-come-first serve basis. If there is a no-show by you at the event, you will be given access to the next event only if a seat is available after other members have been given the first opportunity to attend.
2.6 WIFTAI reserves the right to charge a basic entrance fee for events. This fee is non-refundable and point 2.4 applies with regards to attendance.
2.7 If eligible you can apply for the various opportunities with WIFTAI however WIFTAI does not guarantee you internships /mentorships /jobs. The decision of the selection panel is final and you will not contact any WIFTAI office to dispute their authority.
WIFTAI strives to ensure the security of your information on our systems submitted by users. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure and thus we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to the website and you may do so at your own risk.
